About Yamron Jewelers

Sophisticated, intimate and elegant, Yamron Jewelers resides in the prestigious Waterside Shops in Naples, Florida. Established in Atlantic City more than four decades ago, Yamron Jewelers was under the guidance and leadership of the Yamron family for many successful years. They instituted a tradition of excellence in service, developed an appreciation for exceptional jewelry and watches, and upheld a commitment to treat each client as a cherished member of their family. Bruce Yamron was at the helm for more than twenty- five years; and in 2012, he sold Yamron Jewelers to long-time friend and industry colleague, Danny Govberg.

Danny Govberg is the third-generation president and owner of Philadelphia’s Govberg Jewelers, and he has been thoroughly immersed in the watch industry since the early 1980s. On acquiring Yamron Jewelers, Govberg remarked with great enthusiasm, “We were thrilled to integrate Yamron Jewelers into our portfolio, and look forward to continuing to meet the Naples community, as we preserve Yamron Jewelers’ traditions of remarkable service and philanthropic involvement, while offering the finest watches and jewels available.”

Yamron Jewelers has distinguished itself among watch enthusiasts for its selection of the finest timepieces from elite Swiss watchmaking houses, including Patek Philippe, Ulysse Nardin, Bulgari, Harry Winston, Breitling and more. The highly creative and distinct collections of Greubel Forsey were welcomed to Yamron’s showcases several years ago; and this last year saw the addition of Jaeger-LeCoultre and IWC, whose range of techniques, complications and aesthetics are revered by Yamron’s clientele.

Patek Philippe is celebrated as the company’s most sought-after watch brand, and has been for many years, as the relationship between Yamron Jewelers and Patek Philippe is generations strong. Nat Yamron formed a bond with Patek Philippe and the Stern family over 45 years ago, one that has continued without interruption, growing stronger throughout the years with memorable events, trips and occasions shared over time. Upon the occasion of 2016’s horological holiday — leap day — Yamron welcomed Patek Philippe’s North American team, collectors, friends and clients of the storied manufacture for a private showing of rare and exclusive timepieces. Gathering beneath the illuminated dome of the Figge Conservatory at the Artis-Naples, guests enjoyed a celebration of horology, with the perpetual calendar serving as the unofficial ‘guest of honor.’

Collectors and connoisseurs of rare and one-of-a-kind timepieces have come to appreciate not only Yamron’s product assortment, but also the knowledge and personalized service the store’s sales associates impart during all dealings. Yamron’s typical customer is highly educated, well-traveled, and sophisticated, striving to own the very best in quality, design, style and lasting value. This applies to both the watch and jewelry categories. Gabriel Alves and Laura Kendall, valued members of the Yamron Jewelers team, thoughtfully share, “We listen to the wants and needs of our clients and do everything in our power to make their desires and dreams come true in a manner most convenient to them.”

The watch selection at Yamron Jewelers is complemented by an exquisite collection of designer jewelry. The store’s showcases shine with stunning pieces by Arazi, Piranesi, Bulgari, Roberto Coin, Seaman Schepps, Louis Fiessler and Marina B. Scintillating diamonds of signi cant size, and rare emeralds, rubies and sapphires with exceptional quality, color and beauty are the true specialty at Yamron Jewelers. Access to such important jewels, at remarkable value, is the privileged result of exclusive relationships, built over decades with legendary diamantaires and international gem experts.

Since acquiring Yamron Jewelers, Danny Govberg has not made significant changes in the company platform; however, he has contributed greatly in the realm of service. Danny explains, “Our extended ‘family’ is comprised of watch and jewelry specialists and internationally renowned estate jewelry buying experts, purchasing diamonds, jewelry and watches from private collections across the globe. We specialize in the art of collecting and its connoisseurs, from highly complicated Swiss timepieces, to exquisite sapphires, rubies, fancy color diamonds and more, all at an exceptional value. We are eager to engage with the Naples community as we continue to integrate this new dimension in client service.”

The emphasis on service extends to the greater Naples community by way of ongoing civic, cultural and philanthropic activity. Building upon the traditions set in place by the Yamron family, Govberg launched the Yamron Charitable Giving Program in 2013. Now entering its fourth year, the company actively supports initiatives related to education, healthcare and the arts through this program. The Boys & Girls Club of Collier County, the Naples Community Hospital Healthcare Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Humane Society of Naples and Naples Philharmonic represent just some of the phenomenal causes and organizations Yamron supports.

Beyond the commitment to exquisite wares, client service and community engagement, Yamron Jewelers orchestrates lively events throughout the year. Partnering with Ulysse Nardin and luxury boat retailer MarineMax, clients and friends of Yamron Jewelers spent an afternoon at sea in October, admiring the handsome timepieces and socializing until sunset. Yamron’s Seth Fogelman added, “Our friends and clients enjoyed the company of Ulysse Nardin and access to their incredibly handsome and limited edition timepieces.”

A Naples tradition was initiated in 2015 when Yamron served as the presenting sponsor of the First Annual Mediterra Challenge tennis tournament. After a strong follow-up in early 2016, Yamron took the tournament to new heights in 2017, welcoming IWC as a headline sponsor and the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County as the event beneficiary.

Seth Fogelman and Jacki Olson remarked, “Facilitating an environment for both adult tennis enthusiasts and a special community of children who can learn a new sport and gain a new perspective, is simply fantastic! There’s never been a time when the commitment to one’s community has been so important, and the Yamron Challenge now has the foundation to grow into something extraordinary.”

Benji Kendall and Jason Lee, both Yamron associates, watch enthusiasts and avid tennis players, added, “Tennis has always been an integral part of our lives, and now each winter we can blend the sport with our passion for luxury jewelry and watches through the annual tournament Yamron presents in Naples.”

With a history steeped in tradition, old world craftsmanship and salesmanship, an exclusive collection of the world’s most prestigious timepieces and designer jewelry, and a dedication to supporting and engaging the Naples community, Yamron Jewelers represents a truly exceptional retail experience.

About Wempe Jewelers

Since 1878, Wempe has strived to deliver the ultimate customer experience, and during the last 139 years it has developed into one of the world’s leading internationally operating purveyors of exquisite timepieces and fine jewelry. The German-based company today owns and operates 25 stores located at the best addresses in Germany, London, Paris, Vienna and Madrid, and it also maintains offices in Beijing. Wempe can also be found on the five-star luxury cruise liners, the MS Europa and MS Europa II.

The company’s five mono-brand boutiques include a Rolex boutique in Berlin and on New York’s Fifth Avenue in the Rolex Building, an A. Lange & Söhne boutique in Munich, a Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique in Frankfurt, and a Patek Philippe boutique in Hamburg, with more planned for the future. Wempe is also a proud producer of its very own watch lines, the Wempe Zeitmeister and Wempe Chronometerwerke, whose production site is located in the fully restored, historic Observatory, high above the city of Glashütte. There, Wempe operates Germany’s only official chronometer testing facility.

Wempe continues to be family owned. Hellmut Wempe and daughter Kim-Eva Wempe are both determined and committed to keep it that way. Their entrepreneurial spirit and democratic leader- ship style have empowered their store managers to give each Wempe branch its very own personal space within the Wempe philosophy.

“We have close ties with the company headquarters in Hamburg,” says Rüdiger (Rudy) Albers, President of American Wempe Corps. “We’ve taken the values we were taught there and brought them with us across the sea.” Albers, 53, has been at the helm of the New York Wempe store since 1990, and his staff of 34 professionals follow his lead, projecting a welcoming atmosphere that offers a pleasant break from the hectic pace of Manhattan.

This New York flagship location has been on the ground floor of the Peninsula Hotel since 1990, a landmark building on the corner of Fifth Avenue at 55th Street. In 2016, Wempe seized the opportunity to double its footprint to 5,500-square-feet after the expiration of the leases of its two neighbors, Swarovski and Lindt Chocolatier.

The architecture of the new store pays tribute to the rich history of the building, which was the first steel-construction skyscraper hotel in the city, built in 1905. The interior concept was motivated by the desire to provide more open space for Wempe customers, while maintaining its elegant atmosphere. Thus, rich materials, including hand-selected granite from the quarries around Verona and fine smoked oak, give the store a completely new, contemporary appearance. The ceilings were raised, and the numerous display cases and presentation areas are now directly accessible to clients. The Patek Philippe and Rolex shop-in-shops are harmoniously integrated into the open floor plan, flanking the store on the left and on the right.

The central entrance area is devoted to the luxurious jewelry collection from Wempe’s very own goldsmith atelier, and timepiece enthusiasts are greeted by a John Harrison-inspired H1 Sea Clock manufactured by Sinclair & Harding in Yorkshire England. This fully functioning clock is modeled after the historic marine chronometer that made it possible to calculate longitude while at sea. Eight exterior display windows, up from five, stretch along the half-block façade, inviting passersby to explore the treasures within.

The state-of-the-art service department was relocated and expanded, and customers have the opportunity to admire the skills of the highly trained watchmakers who are visible behind a large glass pane. With service as one of its highest priorities, Wempe has spared no expense in its equipment and the training of its staff to receive authorization from brands to work on many of their most sophisticated timepieces.

“Our ultimate goal is to achieve customer enthusiasm, not just satisfaction,” shares Albers, borrowing a term from one of his idols, “Danny” Meyer, CEO of the Union Square Hospitality Group.

Wempe made its leap across the Atlantic in 1980, and ever since then it has been writing a German-American success story in the center of Manhattan. This recent $8 million investment in the renovation and expansion of the New York store demonstrates, once again, Wempe’s commitment to its role as purveyor of an unparalleled selection of fine timepieces and jewelry.

Vacation is the perfect time to consider purchasing a watch at Time Square Jewels & Time, situated in Palm Beach, Aruba. Founded in 1978 in St. Thomas by Peter and Nina Alwani, the family-owned business, now comprising three stores, is represented by the second generation, with Girish and Satish Alwani at the helm. The two Aruba locations, Little Europe Jewels & Time and Time Square Jewels & Time, five star rated by Tripadvisor.com, are operated by Girish, who is also the watch buyer. (See this book for information about Little Europe Jewels & Time.)

The 1,500-square-foot Time Square Jewels & Time offers such well-known watch brands as Bell & Ross, Frédérique Constant, Glashütte Original, Graham, Ulysse Nardin and many more. Ulysse Nardin is one of the store’s most popular brands, with its enviable selection of timepieces in a broad range of prices and designs—including those with complicated movements. The store’s most popular price range overall is between $5,000 and $20,000.

“My favorite part of the watch industry is seeing new innovations,” says Girish of his multi-year involvement in the watch business. “The watch industry is forever changing due to young and passionate watchmakers who push the limits and take risks.”

In 2013, the company took on several new brands, including Richard Mille, Franck Muller and in 2015 added SevenFriday and Tissot to their brand list. According to a company spokesperson, classic designs are of particular interest among both men and women. There is a large demand for pre-owned watches which are also available here and Time Square has a trade-in and upgrade policy for clients.

Jewelry brands include Belle Etoile, Hidalgo and Nina Nguyen and writing instruments by Montegrappa are also represented, as are watch winders, boxes and accessories by Underwood and Wolf1834.

Each product is carefully displayed within the store’s polished showcases, which add yet another touch of elegance to the modern décor.

Time Square Jewels & Time is proud of its staff of 18, each of whom is highly trained via watch magazines, brand trainings and administrative feedback. In addition, international trade shows provide additional information. Each staff member makes customer service their number one priority, providing the highest level of service to a sophisticated group of customers, a full 95 percent of whom are from outside the area. Both Time Square Jewels & Time and Little Europe Jewels & Time have service centers in Los Angeles and New York. According to Girish, the holiday season is the store’s busiest time of the year, since so many people are traveling to this region during that time.

The clientele ranges from neophyte watch afficionados to those who own upwards of 10 watches. In addition many celebrities and other public figures passing through Aruba make Time Square Jewels & Time their one-stop shop. They come back for both the service and the quality of the merchandise available here—and the vacation atmosphere is no doubt an additional plus.

Time Square Jewels & Time stays in touch with its customers via a variety of initiatives, including an informational website, though future plans include an e-commerce site. Social media is also playing an increasing role.

“With so many changes in the digital landscape, it is imperative that our presence is known through social media, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest,” says Girish.

The store participates in the Aruba International Film Festival (AIFF), which has become high on the list for members of the film community because of its great location and its potential for growth. As for philanthropic commitments, Time Square Jewels & Time is very active in assisting the local orphanage and senior living facilities.

With its enthusiasm for watches, jewelry and its location at large, Time Square Jewels & Time’s future is on track for continued growth and influence in its community and beyond.

About The Timepiece Collection

Childhood friends turned business partners, Michael Rosenberg and Jeffrey Khalaf share a passion and respect for luxury watchmaking, which is the foundation for their flourishing Englewood, New Jersey watch boutique, The Timepiece Collection. It all began at a point in their early adulthood, when they recognized a void in Bergen County’s retail environment, as there wasn’t a local jeweler with the comprehensive selection of fine timepieces they were seeking. Fueled by the strong economic outlook of the early 2000s, their entrepreneurial spirit kicked in, and by 2001 they were actively working to make their grand vision a reality. The Timepiece Collection—a then-400-square-foot storefront on South Dean Street in Englewood, New Jersey—was opened soon thereafter.

“We’ve always loved watches but realized that no one in the area carried a large selection of watch brands under one roof,” explains Rosenberg. “Englewood was growing into one of the most elite shopping districts in the state and we wanted to fill that void.”

An exclusive boutique for customers looking to buy, sell or trade sophisticated timepieces, The Timepiece Collection, which later relocated to 58 East Palisade Avenue, also in Englewood, was designed to serve the horological desires of both the long-tenured watch collector as well as the novice luxury watch buyer. The showroom, which is almost ten times the size of the original retail space, houses an impressive selection of high-end and often hard-to-find pieces, representing some of the most revered names in high-end watchmaking.

The selection of unique products coupled with a strong and loyal clientele—as well as the confidence gained by their success in weathering the economic challenges that faced the nation over the years they’ve been in business—spurred Rosenberg and Khalaf to set their sights even higher. They thoughtfully fine-tuned their product assortment in recent years, and chose to represent a select group of watch brands that spanned price points and styles, and outfitted a modern yet elegant showroom in a manner that best conveyed each brand’s heritage. This “editing” enabled a broader inventory of each brand to be represented, and The Timepiece Collection recently renovated its showroom to integrate elegant shop-in-shops for each of their partner brands.

“We pride ourselves on being able to offer our customers the very best the watch industry has to offer,” shares Rosenberg. “We are very selective about the watches we carry, and our customers know they will find pieces here that cannot easily be found elsewhere.”

Among the varied collections found within The Timepiece Collection’s polished showcases are pieces by Hublot, Ulysse Nardin, Glashütte Original, Bell & Ross, Harry Winston, Parmigiani Fleurier, Girard-Perregaux, TAG Heuer and many more. And in answer to growing trends, The Timepiece Collection includes more women’s pieces than ever before and a larger variety of watches across the board.

The Timepiece Collection boasts an ever-growing assortment of pre-owned timepieces for sale, as well as trade-in and traditional estate buying services. Rosenberg elaborates, “We have found trade-in transactions to be on the rise. Following the past decade with so many new brands that came and went, and collectors buying anything and everything, they are now being more selective in the brands and models they are buying. In regard to purchases of more complicated watches, approximately 30 percent of sales are accompanied by a trade in.”

Leading a team of dedicated industry professionals, Khalaf and Rosenberg may always be found on the showroom floor, or within one of the two exclusive boutiques they opened in 2013 in partnership with Bovet and Ulysse Nardin. Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan within the Ritz-Carlton Central Park, these boutiques showcase the craftsmanship and innovative technologies of two globally admired brands, and reinforce The Timepiece Collection’s commitment to elevating the local watch experience.

Since its founding, The Timepiece Collection has taken an active role in community, collector and philanthropic initiatives. Partnering with its elite brands to amplify the respective brand exposure, or in the case of charitable events, financial support garnered, The Timepiece Collection has earned a reputation for excellence and helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for local organizations. Among these worthy causes, The Timepiece Collection has regularly demonstrated support for the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and the Center for Integrative Medicine, Artists for Peace and Justice, Hollywood Domino and many more.

The Timepiece Collection has grown remarkably over the years, from its humble beginnings in a small shop to the 3,500 square-foot luxury timepiece destination and elite boutiques it operates today. And as it ventures into a new chapter in its story, all will remember its roots as a small company founded by two men who simply love watches.

About Stephen Silver

Stephen Silver has served California’s Silicon Valley and beyond for thirty-seven years. As Chairman and CEO, Stephen’s philosophy of uniting Old World opulence with modern-day luxury has earned the company a brilliant reputation among collectors of rare jewelry, magnificent gemstones and exceptional timepieces. Respect for exquisite craftsmanship and innovation has kept the company at the vanguard of elegance and taste.

Silver took an important and heartfelt step into the future, as he worked with his son, Jared, watch industry veteran Andrew Block and Richard Caniglia to add a curated collection of haute horlogerie to their flagship retail store located in the Rosewood Sand Hill Hotel in Menlo Park, California.

“We have built the premier destination for luxury buyers seeking exceptional jewelry and timepieces,” explains Block. “We are constantly evaluating the brands in our curated watch collection to deliver the ultimate shopping experience for our elite clientele.”

The company’s trademark light, modern and inviting spaces were designed by award-winning architect Joel Miroglio of MAD Architecture and Design. The company’s original boutique at Rose- wood Sand Hill is 100 square feet and designed for hosting rotating exhibits. At 1,300 square feet, the flagship boutique features notable watch brands such as Audemars Piguet, F.P. Journe, Greubel Forsey, Laurent Ferrier, MB&F, and Richard Mille. The space also features a 300-square-foot private garden and private consultation room with two couches, an espresso bar, wine collection and television. The two boutiques complement the corporate offices and showroom located just 2.5 miles away on Woodside Road, where a 500-square-foot private salon houses an exceptional collection of jewelry and gemstones.

“The curated collection of unique watch brands we carry positions Stephen Silver as the destination for connoisseurs and collectors of haute horlogerie. Our boutique is the only West Coast location where many of these brands can be found,” says Block.

At the core of the company’s development lies its estate jewelry business, which specializes in signed and period pieces from houses such as Cartier, Tiffany & Co., J.E. Caldwell, Bulgari and Van Cleef & Arpels. They also create handcrafted, one-of-a-kind pieces via a vast network of jewelers in San Francisco and New York. In keeping with the tradition of great jewelry houses, all of the company’s pieces are handcrafted in platinum or 18-karat gold with extraordinary attention to detail. Stephen Silver also specializes in cutting, re-cutting and re-polishing diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires.

The store’s timepiece customer is typically one of two individuals: the collector interested in adding a rare or limited production piece to his collection and the young-to-middle-age gentleman looking to purchase his first or second watch. They visit for milestones in their lives, and given the location in the heart of the world’s venture capital and technology industries, these often include the sale of a company through merger, acquisition or IPO. In addition, business travelers and watch collectors often make Stephen Silver a highly anticipated stop when in the area.

With a desire to share its success with members of its community, Stephen Silver regularly supports more than 30 organizations, including the V Foundation, Hero Foundation, All Stars Helping Kids, and a host of local schools and art programs. An annual anniversary party is held each year for clients as well as the public, ensuring the opportunity to greet old friends and make new ones.

About Shreve, Crump & Low

America’s oldest jeweler, Shreve, Crump & Low’s story began in 1796 when young watchmaker and renowned silversmith John McFarlane opened a workshop across the street from Paul Revere’s own silversmith shop. McFarlane had an affinity for luxury and built a business procuring such items as sterling silver tea sets and other wares. With the entry of globally influential Benjamin Shreve into the company landscape, they soon delivered diamonds, jewels and other rarities from Europe and the Orient to the elite patrons of Boston.

The firm changed hands, ownership and names through the ensuing years, before it consolidated, reorganized and presented itself by its current name, Shreve, Crump & Low, in 1869. Shreve, Crump & Low was one of the first retailers in the country to offer Patek Philippe and Rolex timepieces, and the company fittingly earned a distinction of excellence and became regarded as an American business legend.

Two-thousand-six proved another turning point in Shreve, Crump & Low’s history as it joined the ranks of Boston’s renowned jeweler David Walker. Walker grew up against a backdrop of the jewelry industry and was running the successful store David & Company at the time of purchase. He later transitioned his eponymous shop into Shreve, Crump & Low’s Chestnut Hill location. Recalling the allure of Shreve, Crump & Low from his childhood, Walker made a pledge to restore the company’s grandeur.

A significant company change came in 2012 when Walker relocated the company’s flagship store to Boston’s most prestigious address: Newbury Street. An immense undertaking to construct, the store re-opened in May 2012. The 8,000-square-foot elegantly designed boutique draws inspiration from European salons and boasts custom showcases, sleek brand build-outs and an appointed space for relaxed browsing.

David Walker’s sons, Brian and Brad, joined their father in operations and development of the family-owned-and-run Shreve, Crump & Low and became deeply engaged in all aspects of the Newbury Street store construction.

“Every aspect of the store was methodically calculated and exact, down to the trim and fixtures,” Brian shares. “In fact, lighting specialists from six different companies were hired to assess the space before we selected the perfect LED options.”

Comprising three levels of perfectly lit showroom space, Shreve, Crump & Low presents diamonds and precious jewels on its first floor, a mezzanine-level Watch Salon and a third floor giftware department and bridal registry. As the perfect complement to David’s expertise and professional accomplishments in the jewelry realm, he welcomed a Boston Store Director with an extensive pedigree in fine timekeeping, Christopher Hislop, to guide development of the watch category.

Shreve, Crump & Low has since forged relationships with some of the watch industry’s most elite and specialized brands, including A. Lange & Söhne, Audemars Piguet, Breitling, IWC, Roger Dubuis, Vacheron Constantin, Zenith, TAG Heuer, Blancpain, Chopard, Hermès and more. Brian shares, “It is a daily occurrence that the passionate watch sales associates on the Shreve, Crump & Low watch floor help guests to purchase, discuss and obsess about the latest and greatest the watch industry has to offer.”

In 2014, Shreve, Crump & Low opened a store outside of Massachusetts for the first time in its lengthy history. The Greenwich, Connecticut, boutique is situated in the former Putnam Savings & Trust location, a historic limestone structure whose exterior is as elegant as its interior, which includes well-placed shop-in-shops. This store brought the number of Shreve, Crump & Low locations to three. The most significant change in 2016 was the renovation of the Boston store’s watch floor to make room for Hublot and Panerai. Piaget can be found in both the Greenwich and Boston stores.

Shreve, Crump & Low’s dedicated associates are well versed in the history, romance and collections of each of their represented brands—including the newly acquired Hublot, H. Moser & Cie and Officine Panerai—as well as the general pulse of the watch industry. The Walkers point to service and product knowledge as the cornerstones of the business, which has truly taken the form of an extended family of loyal customers. A refurbished e-commerce website and the judicious use of social media keep fans in touch with all the latest news and information forthcoming from this ever-vibrant company.

“Know your product. Know your brand. Know your inventory,” Brian conveys. “To properly represent specialized product, you need to know the history, the collections and what differentiates one piece from the next. Shreve, Crump & Low is fully committed to helping both the seasoned watch enthusiast and the budding collector navigate the often ‘complicated’ offerings of the watch industry.”

Underscoring this commitment to service, Shreve, Crump & Low has an expertly trained watchmaker on-site, certified by the most revered watch brands to ensure precision and excellence when dealing with repair and restoration work. Working in a sophisticated in-store service center that is both air sealed and antimicrobial results in ideal conditions for watchmaking.

Knowledgeable, passionate and fully engaged in the continued growth of its horological offerings and services, the entire Shreve, Crump & Low extended family is well poised to meet the needs of watch enthusiasts in Boston and beyond.

“From traveling across the country to deliver a watch, to traveling across the street,” Brian remarks, “Shreve, Crump & Low’s commitment to service goes across the board. There is a level of expertise and superior service that is expected, and that we proudly deliver.”

About Radcliffe Jewelers

Radcliffe Jewelers offers Baltimore’s luxury shoppers an unparalleled selection of fine Swiss timepieces, heirloom-worthy and fashionable jewelry, and an exceptional selection of giftware. From its beginnings as a modest, three-employee, 750-square-foot operation in 1983, Radcliffe Jewelers has since evolved into one of the country’s premier luxury shopping destinations. Under the thoughtful leadership of partners John Shmerler and Paul Winicki, the two magnificent Radcliffe Jewelers locations attract a discerning and loyal clientele.

The recently renovated, two-story Pikesville location features multiple shop-in-shop experiences. The first floor has been enhanced to include boutiques from Breitling, Cartier and Rolex, each adding to its already captivating collection of the finest selection of luxury merchandise. The impeccable selection of timepieces also includes Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC, Officine Panerai and many more, to complement stunning jewelry from designers such as Paul Morelli, Penny Preville and Pomellato.

The second floor showcases expansive choices in china, crystal and giftware, an unrivaled assortment to delight any bride and groom creating a registry.

“Everyone in our company is so proud of the renovation and installation of the new environments. Adding the Rolex and Cartier brands to our portfolio of offerings is great for our clients,” Radcliffe Jewelers’ owner John Shmerler shares.

The Radcliffe location in Towson is equally as impressive. It is touted for having one of the largest bridal and engagement ring selections across Maryland. The elegant showroom features collections from renowned Swiss watch houses, including Cartier, Breguet, Tudor and more. The jewelry selection is extensive and exquisite, featuring well-known brands such as Roberto Coin, Mikimoto, Bulgari and Elizabeth Locke. Radcliffe’s Towson location also maintains an active estate business, purchasing luxury timepieces from clients, and also offering an extensive collection of pre-owned timepieces for sale. And in 2013, Radcliffe welcomed a pre-owned handbag boutique to this location, where clients delight in the discovery of vintage wares by Hermès, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.

Three cornerstone ideals have guided the company since its founding: service, selection and customer satisfaction. Radcliffe regularly goes above and beyond, creating the ultimate shopping experience for its discerning clientele.

“Our service, our knowledge, our collections and our unyielding dedication to our customers set us apart from others in the industry,” Shmerler remarks. “We take pride in exceeding our customers’ expectations.”

Nearly 70 highly trained and passionate associates comprise the Radcliffe Jewelers team, each committed to furthering the company’s reputation for excellence. They impart sincere enthusiasm with each client interaction, welcoming inquiries and helping to further individual experiences in horological discovery. Talented jewelers, craftsmen and watchmakers also maintain important roles, as they ensure that all watch and jewelry needs are met with great care.

Throughout the year, Radcliffe designs and hosts many exciting events, focusing on providing unique opportunities for its customers. Events range from collection launches with celebrated watchmakers to in-store trunk shows highlighting the collections of favored jewelry designers, sponsorships of cultural happenings in the Baltimore community and many philanthropic endeavors. Among Radcliffe Jewelers’ annual traditions is its vibrant Holiday Show, which customers, friends and industry partners have certainly come to anticipate.

Also in 2016, Radcliffe Jewelers traveled to New York City to visit John Hardy’s showroom and meet the experts; they also availed themselves of an Artisan Masterclass, which was a behind-the-scenes look at the craftsmanship that goes into each piece of John Hardy Jewelry. In April, artist and designer Michael Aram visited for a showing of his Spring 2016 fine jewelry and home décor collections.

The company culture is not limited to in-store activity, as Radcliffe offers clients a comprehensive digital experience as well. A recently re-launched website conveys the breadth of available product, and Radcliffe’s team maintains a strong presence on a host of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and an engaging company blog.

Under the leadership of Paul Winicki and John Shmerler, Radcliffe Jewelers continues to thrive. Keeping its founding ideals of service, selection and customer satisfaction close to heart, the company is well poised for many more years of success.

About Provident Jewelry

Established in 1993 as a “mom and pop” jewelry store in downtown West Palm Beach, Provident Jewelry has enjoyed remarkable growth over the last 23 years. With hard work, a focus on superior customer service, and an unwavering sense of integrity, the company has evolved to comprise seven exquisite locations in Florida, and a reputation for excellence extending far beyond the Sunshine State. The most recent addition is the store in Wellington, Florida, which opened in 2016 and features an on-site master jeweler and watchmaker. Fiona Krüger, Arnold & Son, Ulysse Nardin and MB&F are all featuring product there. Also that year, the original Naples Provident location moved, doubling its space, to 5th Avenue in Naples—one of the top ten shopping locations in the country.

Still a family-owned operation, though not in the hands of the original owners, Provident Jewelry is under the leadership of a dynamic team. Rob Samuels, Scott Diament, Jarred Kaplan, Aaron Steinberg, Nick Linca, Seth Berman and Geoffrey Fear work together as they procure some of the area’s most distinguished horological offerings. Represented brands include such revered names as Arnold & Son, Baume & Mercier, Bell & Ross, Breitling, Carl F. Bucherer, Cartier, Chanel, Christophe Claret, Chopard, Corum, Emmanuel Bouchet, Louis Moinet, MB&F, Parmigiani Fleurier, Raymond Weil, Tudor and Ulysse Nardin. Breitling and Cartier are among the most sought-after brands, due to their well-respected craftsmanship, aesthetics and wide range of prices; however, there is a niche for each of the available brands.

Each of Provident Jewelry’s stores boasts a contemporary layout, with traditional touches throughout to enhance the décor, and ample seating for visitors and shoppers. Well-lit showcases house the finely crafted timepieces and exquisite jewels, which include the collections of Bez Ambar, Buccellati, Gucci, Gregg Ruth, Henry Designs, Ippolita, Lithos, Marco Bicego, Milus and Roberto Coin. The company is proud to also offer one of the largest collections of loose and mounted diamonds in the country, with affiliations with the World Federation of Diamond Bourses and the Diamond Bourse of the Southeast U.S.A.

In addition to the well-respected designer collections, Provident Jewelry is pleased to offer custom jewelry fashioned on-site. With stones from its extensive cache of diamonds, and colored gemstones paired with gorgeous settings, a beautiful piece of custom jewelry is just a consultation away. Graduate gemologists and expert jewelry craftsmen quite literally “make your dreams come true” by designing high-quality pieces to the exact specifications of their customers.

Orbita and Avanti watch winders, writing instruments from Cartier and Montblanc and giftware from Lalique are also offered to Provident’s discerning clientele. And while there is some variation in the collections available within each of the Provident Jewelry locations, the stores are unified through a shared commitment to personalized customer care and a gentile ambiance that makes customers feel welcomed and valued.

Provident boasts more than 50 dedicated employees, each of whom is well versed in the technical language of the watch and jewelry industries. The company provides in-house training and offers continuing education opportunities through their represented brands. A watchmaker is on-site to answer questions, perform repairs and cleanings, and provide warranty service. In addition to attracting a following for its exquisite timepieces and jewels, Provident Jewelry has gained a reputation for its thriving pre-owned and vintage watch business. Often one-of-a-kind, Provident’s estate timepieces offer watch aficionados the opportunity to expand their personal collections in unique ways, with pieces that are nearly impossible to find in today’s marketplace. Signed jewelry by David Webb, Cartier and Tiffany & Co., as well as pre-owned watches by Rolex, Patek Philippe and more, are available.

Provident Jewelry maintains an informative and easy-to-navigate website, where clients may find information about each of the stores, as well as educational information about jewelry, watches, gemstones and special services. The company is also quite active in the realm of social networking, staying in touch with its clientele through Facebook, Twitter and a Provident Jewelry blog.

Provident Jewelry hosts a variety of events throughout each year, many benefitting important causes. The company is committed to many philanthropic initiatives, particularly those benefitting U.S. Veterans. In addition Provident Jewelry supports, among other organizations, the Palm Beach Symphony, Beyond Blindness and Quantum House, a local initiative that helps families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for serious medical conditions.

The company marked the expansion of its Jupiter store last year with a grand opening celebration where 300 guests, including friends, clients and brand partners, experienced the store’s new 1,300-square- foot luxury lounge. The area, coined the Dream Factory, features a walk-in humidor, full bar, on-site watchmaker and some of the world’s most extraordinary timepieces and jewels. More recently, the company’s grand opening celebration of the Palm Beach location was held.

With over two decades of experience, impeccable taste in the horological realm and an unparalleled jewelry collection, Provident Jewelry is well poised for many more years of continued success.

About O.C. Tanner Jeweler

O.C. Tanner Jewelers has been a welcome feature of Utah’s retail landscape since 1927, when Obert C. Tanner founded his company along the Wasatch Front. It wasn’t until 1976 that he realized his dream of opening “the most beautiful jewelry store in America.” That year saw the debut of the jeweler’s location on South Temple in Salt Lake City, followed in 2000 by a second location on Historic Main Street in Park City. In 2009, the South Temple store moved to 15 South State Street, where it resides today. In 2011 the company opened the Rolex Boutique by O.C. Tanner at the City Creek Center, also in Salt Lake City.

“Our South Temple location brought world-class fine jewelry and timepieces to Salt Lake City and the region for the first time, including Rolex and Patek Philippe,” explains VP of Retail Stores, Kathleen Sacco.

The new flagship location was the original Salt Lake City library, which had been converted to a planetarium in the 1960s. It has a charming and historically significant beaux-arts façade, juxtaposed by a modern interior that offers the ideal environs for O.C. Tanner’s elegant displays of watches and jewelry, including a Patek Philippe shop-in-shop. The Park City store’s historic pioneer architecture is complemented by an interior that embraces a rustic-contemporary style, sharing space with an elegant Rolex boutique. Both locations are the proud purveyors of some of the most prestigious, world-renowned watch brands, including Cartier, Breitling, Tudor, Omega and Hermès, in addition to Patek Philippe and Rolex.

Equally impressive, jewelry brands Mikimoto, Pomellato, Kwiat, William Goldberg, Rahaminov, Monica Rich Kosann, Penny Preville, Suna Bros., Jade Trau, Mattia Cielo and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen are exclusive to O.C. Tanner in Utah. The company’s offerings also include other esteemed marques, such as Roberto Coin, David Yurman and John Hardy. O.C. Tanner’s own line of jewelry comprises engagement and wedding rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants and more—each expertly handcrafted in-house by the company’s master jewelers. O.C. Tanner prides itself on its use of only the finest cuts of diamonds set in 18-karat gold or exclusive alloys of white gold or platinum. The stores’ jewelers are also at the ready to create custom pieces for their esteemed clientele, who hail from all over the world.

O. C. Tanner Jewelers has rightfully earned a reputation for creating an unparalleled luxury experience for its patrons, warmed by a welcoming and dedicated staff highly educated in their respective professions. There are currently 40 employees, including sales associates, master jewelers and a watchmaker in residence at the flagship store, and each team member is ready and willing to share an extensive knowledge about watches and watch collecting. WOSTEP-certified Nathan Fredell is a Rolex-trained watchmaker, and he plays an instrumental role in the before-and-after sales satisfaction of the store’s customers who avail themselves of his exceptional work.

O.C. Tanner Jewelers is well regarded for its role in assisting collectors with the acquisitions of highly sought-after, rare timepieces and guidance for future additions to their collections. Customers are often avid watch afficionados who own more than a dozen timepieces. Rolex and Patek Philippe are the most popular brands. In another effort to expand customer satisfaction, O.C. Tanner Jewelers accepts watch trade-ins and will put clients in contact with its trusted watch dealers who facilitate this opportunity.

“Watch enthusiasts love to connect and converse with other individuals who also share their knowledge and passion for timepieces and their manufacturers,” says Patek Philippe Ambassador Salvo Vergadavola. “We feel it is essential to make a genuine connection based on our expertise and love of timepieces. Collectors should look at our sales staff as sincere and knowledgeable advisors.”

With a busy roster of in-store events, O.C. Tanner Jewelers maintains a high profile within its community and its private invitations are among the most coveted in the region. The company hosts a regular Patek Philippe Collectors event, which is an intimate dinner with a Patek Philippe watchmaker and a brand representative. Another recent event, with Omega, gave attendees the opportunity to disassemble and reassemble a timepiece and meet Omega watchmakers.

The family-owned O.C. Tanner Jewelers, which is celebrating its ninetieth anniversary in 2017, is forging into the future with a strong digital strategy that includes a sophisticated website, as well as social media presence that includes Instagram and Facebook. The user-friendly site features the engaging story of the company and its Utah roots, as well as information about the many watch and jewelry brands it carries today. Adding to that, information about the stores’ bridal and home and lifestyle offerings are available.

The Tanner family and Obert’s daughter Caroline Tanner Irish, who is President of the Board of O.C. Tanner, are known within their community for their generous contributions to higher education, the arts and humanitarian causes. The jewelry stores regularly support those organizations in which their customers are involved, including museums and performing arts organizations, and they have hosted the Hope Gala for the Utah Chapter of the American Cancer Society. So with a generous heart and exciting plans for the future, O.C. Tanner Jewelers is certain to maintain its status, in vision, as one of the most beautiful jewelry stores in America.

About Manfredi Jewels

The charming town of Greenwich, Connecticut, is home to one of the country’s premier destinations for enthusiasts of fine timepieces and exceptional jewelry. Established over a quarter of a century ago by the charismatic Roberto Chiappelloni, Manfredi Jewels began as an intimate retail outlet for the jewelry collections of designer Giulio Manfredi, who was raised in the same Northern Italian village as Roberto. The shop provided a venue for Roberto to share his growing passion for the complicated art of horology, and he attracted an international clientele in search of collectible timepieces and stunning jewelry.

A few years ago, Manfredi Jewels celebrated its 25th anniversary as a full-service jewelry and watch boutique with a steadfast reputation for excellence, representation of the most elite brands and an elegant 3,300-square-foot showroom. Manfredi underwent an outstanding expansion and redesign in 2008 and today its aesthetic mirrors that of a European-style salon. The space is sleek and contemporary, featuring an elliptical layout with “walls of watches” and a center “island of jewelry,” where some of the most distinguished names in luxury may be found. The jewelry cases were recently expanded to provide a more open and luxurious space in which to display them, and Tacori has been added to the store’s offerings to engage the store’s growing bridal clientele. Adjacent to the showroom is an expertly appointed lounge space, ideal for relaxed browsing.

“Our mission was to create a luxurious and comfortable space in which to experience beautiful, complicated and rare timepieces,” Roberto shared. Beautiful and rare indeed. Manfredi boasts a collection of illustrious and highly coveted brands, including Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille, Breguet, F.P. Journe, Ulysse Nardin, Vacheron Constantin, Omega, Laurent Ferrier and more.

The Manfredi team points to Vacheron Constantin as one of its most sought-after brands, noting its classic high-end style, superior craftsmanship and overall reputation for reliability. Noted trends among Manfredi’s male clientele also reveal a return to a traditional and conservative aesthetic, while the desire for bigger and trendier timepieces has shifted to women.

An assortment of pre-owned and vintage timepieces may also be found within Manfredi’s showcases, each of which has undergone careful service and restoration by Manfredi’s expert watchmakers. Interest in pre-owned timepieces has escalated in recent years, and enthusiasts regularly find great delight in the hidden treasures and rare discontinued models found within the store’s pre-owned selection. In response to this growing market, Alessandro Baldi Talini, Ph.D., was hired in the newly created position of Business Manager of Pre-Owned and Vintage Watches charged with expanding this business through various venues, including a recently launched website, social media—Instagram and Facebook—and e-commerce.

Keen watch collectors who own dozens of fine timepieces and the more casual connoisseur alike frequent Manfredi Jewels. Each is greeted with the same level of personalized care.

“We develop strong relationships with our clients based upon an understanding of their likes and interests, not just about price,” Roberto remarked.

Manfredi Jewels employs 15 individuals in its two locations, including two master watchmakers and a talented goldsmith. Each member of the Manfredi team boasts an extensive knowledge of the watch industry, accrued through a variety of means. Roberto points to the thorough reading of enthusiast publications, brand-supplied literature and the many resources online as key components. “We pursue every avenue the manufacturers provide for education, from in-house training sessions to Swiss factory visits and centralized U.S. trainings,” he shares. Throughout the course of a year, Manfredi hosts intimate events celebrating the industry, joining with clients who also admire the fine art of watchmaking and its superior craftsmanship.

“For the last several years, we have had the honor to host private collectors’ dinners, featuring presentations from world-class watchmakers and providing clients the opportunity to handle the newest introductions from the world’s great watch companies,” adds Roberto.

Recognizing the good fortune they have experienced over the past twenty-five years, Manfredi Jewels is deeply committed to enriching and supporting the community that has sustained it over its tenure.

Philanthropic and civic commitments span a range of important causes, with ongoing support demonstrated for the Wounded Warrior Project, the Police Athletic League, the Holocaust Memorial, the Tolerance Center, the Enchanted Forest, a number of educational initiatives and much more.
