Yes, absolutely. They are mechanical watches that are valued worldwide for their high-quality materials, innovative original calibers, meticulous design and traditional manufacturing methods. It is not without reason that the use of the place of origin “Glashütte” is protected by law and requires at least 50 percent of value creation to have taken place on site.

Up to 95 percent of NOMOS Glashütte’s mechanical watches are made in the company’s own manufactory in Glashütte, and have won 170 awards since 2000. Among others, they have received the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, seven Good Design Awards presented by the Chicago Athenaeum, Museum of Architecture and Design and seven “Watch of the Year” awards, which is chosen by the audience.

Konstantin Chaykin is pleased to officially present the “Stargazer” watch – the most complex wristwatch not only in his career, but also ever to be created in Russia. The unique movement of 664 parts was completely manufactured at the Russian manufacture “Konstantin Chaykin” from the sketch stage and development to the final processing and decoration. The “Stargazer” watch features a record number of complications – 17, 11 of which are astronomical. In order to accommodate all the indicators, the watchmaker decided to make the watch double-sided. The base of the movement is covered with ruthenium and double-sided platinum with “pearlage” decoration. Both dials of the “Stargazer” are anthropomorphic, like other watches from Konstantin Chaykin’ssuper popular “Wristmon” collection. The ruthenium-coated dial became the Dark Side of the “Star Chart”, and the rhodium-plated dial became its Light Side. Thanks to the clever construction of the strap attachment, the watch can be easily turned to display either side up.

An ode to craftsmanship

Vacheron Constantin pays tribute to ancient Chinese culture with its new Métiers d’Art – Tribute to traditional symbols series, featuring two interpretations of the “Seawater Cliff”, a legendary Chinese motif that first appeared in the 14th century.

This depiction of wave-lashed cliffs belongs to the cultural tradition of Imperial China, a special field of study for Mr. Song, the Former Associate Research Librarian of the Palace Museum, who guided the Vacheron Constantin artisans on this project.

Housed in a 38 mm-diameter case in 18K pink or white gold, powered by Calibre 2460 driving central hours and minutes hands, these dials provide a forceful, beautiful expression of Chinese cultural symbolism.

Housed in a stainless steel case with an open case back, this timepiece boasts a burgundy-colored glacier-patterned dial with a filet sauté and rose gold-coated hands and numerals. Limited to only 1,786 exclusive pieces, it features an interchangeable leather strap with a vertical sfumato effect.
