Mido Multifort Patrimony

Once again demonstrating its ability to meld history, a good look and strong value, Mido this week introduces the latest model in its wide-ranging Multifort collection.

Perhaps the most retro-tinged design in the Multifort collection, this new Multifort Patrimony betrays its historical perspective with an excellent sunray satin-finished domed dial, offered in blue, brown or anthracite. Vintage touches also include the pulsimeter scale on the edge of the dial, the box sapphire crystal protecting it and the hand shape.

At 40mm, the more contemporary steel case (also offered with a gold PDF plating) houses the firm’s own Caliber 80, a truly modern automatic caliber made for Mido by parent company ETA. The movement offers an incredible eighty hours of power reserve, a statistic you’ll not find elsewhere at this price range outside the Swatch Group.

This automatic movement is decorated on its rotor with Geneva stripes and the Mido logo, both visible through a transparent case back. Mido accentuates the Multifort Patrimony’s technical update by attaching a natural brown or black cow leather strap, though adds a more traditional pin buckle to finish it. The Mido Multifort Patrimony is water-resistant to 50 meters.

The automatic Caliber 80, visible from the caseback, offers up to 80 hours of power reserve. And it's COSC certified.
