Anonimo’s Militare collection retains its crown at the top of the dial in part to remind you of its sporty focus. And the crown’s patented case-top hinge and protection system, a remnant of the Anonimo’s origins in Florence, are just a few of the design features that make an Anonimo Militare watch among the most distinctive active-wear watches available. Other Militare features include the Anonimo 43.4mm cushion case and the collection’s bold 12, 04, 08 dial, designed to trace the letter A in Anonimo.
Anonimo this week announces a new special edition Militare made using the colors of one of its collaborators. Now six months into its partnership with the FIA World Rally Championship, Anonimo launches the Militare Special Edition WRC, a chronograph bathed in the green and black of the WRC.
This collaboration complements Anonimo’s work with Moto3 or WTCR on the different circuits of the world.
As noted, this latest example of course includes the top-case crown, but also adds a grey hand-brushed dial within a black PVD case. WRC fans are sure to see the green and black tachometer and chronograph function (pusher, track, seconds hand and minutes) colors. Fans will also note the green stitched Cordura-effect strap, but will be more impressed that each strap has also been treated to be fire resistant, just like a driver’s racing suit. Finally, in tribute to the Anonimo-WRC partnership, you’ll find a special WRC engraving on both the dial and the sapphire caseback.
