G-SHOCK Offers Fitness With Style

(Sponsored Post) Don’t let the casual demeanor of G-SHOCK’s new series fool you. These six new analog-digital fitness tracking watches are serious about helping you stay fit. Each is equipped with a three-axis acceleration sensor and can pair with a smartphone app to support any daily fitness routine. And it will do all this while looking stylish on any wrist.

The new GBA800 uses its built-in accelerometer to measure daily steps taken and walking/running pace, displaying the steps taken on the watch. Using Bluetooth, the watch pairs with a smartphone and sends data to the G-SHOCK Connected app, allowing users to track and view the daily steps they take and the calories they burn. Thus, Users can set up to twenty sets of five timers on the dedicated G-SHOCK Connected app. Fitness buffs can create a menu of workouts and intervals, even break times, that repeat within a set period.

Up to 20 sets of 5 timers can be set up on the dedicated app.

When the user brings along a smartphone while engaging in an activity, the G-SHOCK Connected app graphically displays the steps taken and calories burned on a map, so the user can track the steps taken and the location, time of day, and Metabolic Equivalent Levels (MET). The user can also create timed workouts for interval training, providing a whole new way to use G-SHOCK for health tracking and fitness.

Use as a step timer

G-SHOCK offers a choice of six monotone colors (to match any casual ensemble): GBA800-1A (black), GBA800-2A (blue), GBA800-3A (green), GBA800-7A (white), GBA800-8A (gray), and GBA800-9A (yellow). All feature analog hands, for a true timepiece look, set into a mid size case, makes it less intrusive during workouts.

The watchbands feature plenty of holes to ensure a perfect fit on the wearer’s wrist. The GBA800 keeps accurate time by connecting four times per day to a timeserver through a paired smartphone, delivering performance and practicality as a wristwatch.
