GRAHAM launches Silverstone RS Endurance LA Kings®

GRAHAM shares the same commitment to team spirit as the Los Angeles Kings® during their season. We would like to pay tribute to their bravery that led to a legendary victory.  The Los Angeles Kings® achieved a remarkable turnaround by becoming the 2014 Stanley Cup™ Champions for the second time in three years. Precision, ardour and team spirit were indivisible for an historical double victory. GRAHAM launched an ultimate limited edition reserved for the players. The Silverstone RS Endurance LA Kings® embodies the same energy and enthusiasm that the players experienced in conquering the NHL® Championship.

The collectible watch contains a slice of the game puck used in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup™ Final which took place on June 13, 2014.

GRAHAM is proud and honoured to collaborate with the Los Angeles Kings® team in this epoch-marking sport endeavour. The Silverstone RS Endurance LA Kings® is the result of a joint creative venture and technical effort to find the most striking way to celebrate the historical trophy win. The ultimate timepiece has been developed in vein of GRAHAM passion for high-technology and daring taste.

On November 28th, GRAHAM organised an exceptional awards presentation with the LA Kings® players in Los Angeles. Each player was offered their own unique Silverstone RS LA Kings® which features a certified slice of the game puck used in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup™ Final on June 13, 2014. All were highly appreciative of the warm attention.

The Silverstone RS Endurance LA Kings® is a collectible watch marked by adrenaline and radiance as it features a black PVD case enhanced with a black ceramic bezel and a solid white gold (18K) ring with Clous de Paris under the bezel. The wonderful 2014 Stanley Cup™ victory is set in stone on the side of the case at 3 o’clock. The 2014 inscription is engraved alongside two white diamonds (0.014 cts).

The breathtaking experience that the LA Kings® made us live is unforgettable. Attentive to details, GRAHAM wanted to pay a particular tribute to the victory by placing a genuine piece of puck in the watch dial. The seconds counter at 9 o’clock has been replaced by a certified slice of a game puck used in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup™ Final which took place on June 13, 2014.

The task was not easy as the puck bears the marks and scratches of the final game.

The two sides of the puck were cut with a laser machine. Each face has been cautiously milled with a grinding-wheel then stoned to reach only 0.45mm thick. A thin slice of the puck was cut with a precision laser from a specific part of the disc. Positioned on the left of the dial at 9 o’clock, the slice is captioned with the inscription 2014 final winning game 5 used puck. Each watch is unique and we are proud to create the first collectible LA Kings® watch.

Eric Loth, GRAHAM Founder is delighted: We are extremely excited about the limited edition series. It is also a dream coming true for us. The LA Kings® have greatly impressed us and we wanted to capture this feeling in a watch. We are proud that we can associate our expertise to the team incredible achievement by bringing this dedicated collectible watch.

24 pieces given to players; 1 piece preserved in the GRAHAM private collection; only 25 additional pieces have been made available to the public.
