On October 26th Cuervo y Sobrinos celebrated in style, hosting an over-the-top block party at the prestigious David Orgell Jewelers on Rodeo Drive. From 7:30 until 10:00 guests enjoyed live Cuban music, cigar rolling, gourmet tapas and mojitos under swaying palm trees. Groups of
watch aficionados and shoppers enjoyed the celebration and took time to view the exquisite timepieces from the unique Swiss brand.
Among the watches featured were the new models released at the 2011 Basel show. Brand owner, Mr. Marzio Villa, flew from Switzerland for the event and enjoyed the opportunity to meet and talk with the American watch enthusiasts. He also indulged in his favorite topic—the challenge of combining vintage aesthetic design with technology. Established in 1882 in Havana, this brand has always been made in Switzerland and continues to display an impressive range of watches from imposing sports styles to sleekly elegant and more formal dress pieces.
