Details: Zenith Timepieces sponsored the Outstanding 50 Award Dinner Event at Cipriani’s Tuesday night, honoring the top 50 Asian Americans in Business. The annual event is now in its eleventh year and is the only organization to highlight the achievements of Asian Americans across the United States. The award recipients represent a microcosm of the best Asian American business owners, professionals and corporate executives. The award committee identifies and selects individuals with outstanding leadership, vision and accomplishments who have built a successful business or who have distinguished themselves in their community.
This years Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business top awards, the “Lifetime Achievement Award”- will be presented to Norman Mineta, former Secretary of Transportation under President George W. Bush, and the “Pinnacle Award” will go to Dinesh C. Paliwal, Chairman, President and CEO of Harman International industries, Inc. The annual event, which is organized by the Asian American Business Development Center will also honor 50 other Asian Americans from California to New York, representing a multitude of Asian ethnic backgrounds. Cumulatively, the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business awards have honored more than 500 successful Asian American women and men from multiple ethnic backgrounds, representing over 50 industries and professions. Over 700 guests attended the event.
