Founded in 1856 in the Jura Mountains, Switzerland, Ernest Borel  has over the years established its heritage of quality  watches through innovation and excellence. Today, the brand has built strong reputation all over the world thanks to famous models such as the Cocktail watches and a full range of collections.

In 1866, Jules Borel and Paul Courvoisier, the founders of the company, had already won a first prize in a product competition held by the Neuchâtel Observatory, the highest authority of timing products in Switzerland. Ten years later in 1876, Ernest BOREL received the prestigious Certificate of Award in Philadelphia distinguishing its high quality watches. This important achievement in America history was the first of many to come. Two years later, in 1978, Ernest BOREL was awarded in Paris, France, the first-ever gold medal bestowed in the Swiss watch industry. Today, the brand sits amongst the ten biggest producers of officially certified Chronometers in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

Romance and passion in watch-making
Established in the USA for a successful and long period, the brand has since early 2012 intensified its presence in the American market by joining USA Dance, the Governing Body for DanceSport in the United States, as the brand alliance partner for the 3rd annual Star Quality Awards at the USA Dance 2012 National DanceSport Championships in Baltimore. These awards were presented by ABC-TV’s highly popular celebrity judge of “Dancing with the Stars” Carrie Ann Inaba, who is Honorary Judge of the annual Star Quality Awards and Ambassador for USA Dance.

The common values shared by the Ernest Borel brand and this USA Dance award are the ones upon which the company has built its legacy of excellence through the decades. Each watch manufactured in the Ernest BOREL workshop is the result of more than 155 years of traditions and perfection in watch-making that allowed Ernest BOREL to win numerous prizes and awards since 1856. As in both watch-making and dancing, precision, movement, timing, passion and harmony separate the virtuosity from the common. Today, Ernest BOREL rewards the best dancers as well as their outstanding performances through the Star Quality Award, as a tribute to its own history…

Exceptional time pieces for lovers of quality Swiss watch-making
The Ernest Borel’s collection regroups quartz and automatic mechanical watches which both include quality movements, materials and excellence. The Braque Chronometers Collection brings the precision and the elegance through a Swiss automatic mechanical officially certified COSC movement combined to a 41 millimeters bi-color stainless steel polished case. As a tool of precision, the dial is set with day and date indications.

Destined to women and men, the Royal Collection is expected to turn heads thanks to its sleek design and the quality of materials employed to assemble this piece of art in watch-making. As a result of more than 150 years of know-how and innovation in watch-making, the Royal Collection is made of a Swiss made automatic movement, a pink gold plated case and a dial set with ten diamonds. This watch is available in two sizes for women and men.
