On Friday, June 29th, Harry Winston teamed up with graffiti artist and nightlife impresario, André Saraiva, to celebrate the launch of the brand’s Ocean Sport™ collection at Shelter Island’s Sunset Beach Hotel with a dinner and special performance by the Virgins.
Harry Winston President and CEO, Frédéric de Narp, and Saraiva welcomed guests including: Hilary Rhoda, Derek Blasberg, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Linda Vojtova, Kenza Fourati, Louise Donegan, Fabien Baron, Alexander Soros, Johan Lindeberg, Jamison Ernest, Stuart Parr, Allison Sarofim, Russell Simmons, and Waris Ahluwalia.
After guests arrived from Manhattan on a 45-minute StndAIR seaplane flight, the evening, produced by Forward, proceeded with cocktails complimentary of Perrier-Jouët and dinner served in the hotel’s vineyard with breathtaking views of the ocean. An impressive 80-feet long table seating seventy-five VIP guests was specially constructed for the event. The highlight of the evening was the live creation of an artwork by André Saraiva during the cocktail while DJ Paul Sevigny played an exclusive music selection. The dinner menu was specially created by Mark Zeitouni, Executive Chef at The Standard, Miami & Sunset Beach, Shelter Island. After dinner and dessert, guests were treated to a private performance by The Virgins (Donald Cumming, Max Kamins, Xan Aird, and John Eatherly) including their songs “Prima Materia” and “Venus in Chains” from their upcoming/unreleased album.
Featuring men’s and women’s timepieces crafted in Harry Winston’s exclusive Zalium™ alloy, the Ocean SportTM Collection is perfect for summer seaside wear. The Ocean Sport™ Chronograph and Ocean Sport™ Quartz for ladies and the Ocean Sport™ Chronograph, Ocean Sport™ Automatic and Ocean Sport™ Chronograph Limited Edition for men represent a blend of athletic spirit and cutting edge.
