Last month at BaselWorld, Rado President Matthias Breschan showed us a few highlights from his firm’s very deep 2012 collection. As International Watch readers know, Rado has been on quite a roll since debuting the D-Star 200 dive watch late last year. The firm followed up that debut, its sportiest watch in years, by releasing the new ceramic HyperChrome line at a major press event in Dubai. At BaselWorld, Rado unveiled an interesting limited-edition design watch, the R1, whose ceramic case takes four days to machine. In this video, Breschan talks about a few specific timepieces, including the R1 and HyperChrome, as well as the strong emphasis that his firm continues to place on innovation the field of materials.
