The big day has finally arrived for the staff of International Watch. It’s time to launch our newly rebranded print edition. If you’re an iW subscriber, you may have already had a chance to check out our new logo on the cover. The new logo is just one of the many modernizations and improvements that you’ll find flipping through the January issue. These include a larger format, richer paper, and a much-improved, cohesive look to the magazine’s features.
We’ve added new departments in the form of “Historical Perspectives,” where each month we cover auctions and other news and events of interest to collectors; “Dialed In,” a revamped front-of-book news section; and “iW Asks,” where we pose questions to leaders from around the watch industry.
In the January issue, you can read Mike Thompson’s cover story on Hermes’s Le Temps Supendu, Elizabeth Doerr’s exploration of Girard-Perregaux’s manufacture, and Ken Kessler’s Q&A with Guido Terrini of Bulgari. I profile a recent sojourn with A. Lange & Sohne to California Wine Country and a guide to 40+ great dress watches at a range of price points.
I think you’ll agree that the January issue is perhaps the very best we’ve ever made. If you haven’t yet received your subscription or newsstand copy of iW’s January relaunch issue—or even if you have—check out this amazing sizzle video of what’s inside.
