Luminox Watch Honors Diver’s Eco Charity

Undersea explorer and combat diver Scott Cassell this Saturday completed a 30-mile dive from Catalina Island to San Pedro, California.  The astonishing feat that pushed his body to the physical edge, even causing him to black out underwater for a brief period, was all in an effort to bring attention to the endangered shark species that is virtually on the edge of extinction.

Serving as the lifeline on his wrist during diving expeditions, Luminox helped make his 30-mile dive dream a reality. The “essential gear” watch brand is a sponsor of Scott Cassell and an avid supporter of his work to save our oceans and sharks.

To commemorate Scott Cassell’s 30-mile dive and help continue to support Cassell’s future work in saving the sharks and oceans, Luminox announced a limited edition Scott Cassell dive series where a portion of proceeds will go towards Cassell’s organizations and future missions. More on the dive can be viewed now on Global Reef’s blog.
