The Octa UTC from F.P. Journe features the patented Octa UTC system that indicates the second time zone using both a typical second hour hand and a colorful image of the Earth showing the 24 standard, full-hour time zones. The watch even takes into account summer and winter time. The white or rose gold dial features off-center hours, minutes, and seconds, a retrograde power-reserve indicator, a large date display, and a subdial with the colorful rendition of the globe. The main hours are indicated by the blue hands and are linked to the date window at 12 o’clock. Once the local time is set, the wearer positions the second geographical region on 0 for winter hour and the rose gold hand automatically positions itself at the corresponding time for that region.

Like all F.P. Journe Invenit et Fecit creations, the Octa UTC is equipped with a rose gold automatic movement and features a rose gold off-center rotor that winds in only one direction, thanks to an exclusive self-blocking ceramic ball bearing system. The watch is offered in platinum or rose gold and is available in 38 mm and 40 mm sizes. Price: $42,200 to $48,800.
